Q - Do you charge a monthly fee like most of the other website package deals i see advertised at a low price?

A - no, there is a one off fee for the web package and 1st year domain and hosting. After the 1st year, additional hosting and domain registration is charged at € 120 per year.

Q - How long will the website take to make

A - It depends on the size of the Project. A basic website will take approximately 1 week, an Ecommerce site maybe 1 month. Because the design process involves your input, the time for your responses will afffect the production process. Delays will may also occur if you fail to provide content on time.

Q - How does the web design process work for the actual page? 

A - There's 3 steps: The first and most important step is listening. I begin each project by developing a solid understanding of your company, your customers and your needs. The second  is the design process. I’ll discuss the designs with you, digest your feedback, and refine up to 3 times the design. The third is the production, this involves building out pages and completing any necessary programming for the final delivery.

 Q - Am I limited by the package retraints, such as 5 email accounts, or 5 pages etc...?

A - No, the  basic package is an entry level package designed to be the lowest common denominator for clients. These numbers are a rough guide. Many clients will want to add to the base package to achieve a website that suits their needs. Just contact me with your requirements and I will be able to quote a cost (if any) on any features above the basic website package.

Q - Can i customise my website so it includes animated sections, audio, video...?

A - This is an optional extra available on the extras pages to include animations and interaction effects at an extra cost, based upon my hourly rate of € 45 p/h.   Just contact me with your requirements and I will be able to give you an exact quote.

Q - What happens after the years domain and hosting has expired and i want to keep my web site?

A - You can simply renew your hosting and domain name with myself for € 120 per extra year. 

Q - What if i need to make an adjustment to the content of the website (maintain the website)?

 A - Any adjustments will incur an hourly rate of € 45 per hour, charged in 15 minute blocks. If you opt to include the Easy update system as an optional extra you can update your website at any time yourself via you admin panel on the web.

Q - What if i already have hosting and domain set up?

A - Thats OK, however i do not offer any discount for this on the basic package as I will have to spend time reconfiguring your domain and accessing your hosting.

Q - Why should I choose a Freelance Web designer?

A - One of the main advantages of choosing a freelance web designer over a large corporation is cost. his means a freelancer will have little to no overhead costs, where a large graphic or web design company will have offices premises, staff, rents and utilities to pay out - this often results in much higher hourly rate than a freelance web designer. 

Another important reason is that with a freelance designer you work directly with the designer from the start of your project to the finish. This means no breakdown in communication at any stage and also a more personal and friendly experience overal

Q - Will I be listed on Google?

 A - Your domain will be registered and submit to Google and show up in search results. Even tho the website is coded in a Google friendly way, no guarantee can be made on the search ranking your site will achieve. Q - How can i pay you?

A - The easiest and fastest method of payment would be via direct bank transfer to my account. You can pay using PayPal too. A 25% of he total cost of the project is requiered and it has to be payed once I star to work in the project.

Q - Can i get website stats to see who is visiting my site and how often?

A - Not as part of the basic package but i can set up a Google analytics account for you and incorporate the code to work with the website for an additional fee.

Q - Can i use the code from my website to make myself another website?

A - No, the code and website design remains the intellectual property of Ross Web Design. As such it is subject to international copyright law. Any infringement of intellectual property rights will result in legal action.

Q - Can i remove the Ross footer link from my website?

A -Yes, you can, but in order to remove the link you will have to pay 800 Euros.
